I'm from Kentucky, but I came out west to study coding at Turing School of Software and Design.
In addition to software development, I have worked constructing costumes for theatres, styling clothing for photography studios, and teaching sewing.
I studied Studio Art at a liberal arts college in Kentucky. I am always looking for new and challenging skills. I've done everything from creating giant, wearable blocks to designing cookie cutters for 3D printing.
In addition to my sewing and costume construction, I am a self-taught, insatiable fibre artist. In the colder months, it is nearly impossible to find me without a hook in hand.
In my experience, there's a lot to learn from the intersection of art and science. My father is a high school physics teacher, and I've loved collaborating with him on his maker education program.
